General Collections
The University Libraries aim to build world-class collections that reflect, serve, and are accessible to the George Mason community. The libraries' general collections currently include:
- More than 2 million electronic books and 1 million print books.
- Over 900 online databases of scholarly research information.
- Over 200,000 full-text e-journals and conference proceedings.
- Over 160,000 streaming media in addition to physical media.
- Government documents, maps, microfiche and microfilm.
