Viet Nam Exhibition Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Hallowzines Event
Students create their own zines during the Hallowzines event hosted by George Mason University Libraries. Held in conjunction with Virginia Archives Month, Hallowzines introduces participants to the history and culture of zines while giving them the opportunity to design and assemble their own. The Cross-Pollination Exhibit Opening
The Cross-Pollination Exhibit opened in March of 2025. Held in conjunction with the opening of the new Seed Library at Fenwick, the exhibition explored the relationship between the earth's natural elements and the creative process, featuring works by four Mason faculty members: Stephanie Benassi, Elizabeth Hall, Jeffrey Kenney, and Wanda Raimundi-Ortiz. Spheres of Engagement Project
Professor June Huang, Suyua Carrasco, Professor Gerald Fowkes, and Alyssa Cabassa (from left to right) perform Fugue in D – Valentine, composed by senior Composition student George Benskin V, at the Spheres of Engagement Project event. This collaboration between Dewberry School director of composition Andrea Reinkemeyer and the University Libraries' Special Collections Research Center invited students to create new works inspired by archival materials. With guidance from SCRC Research Services Coordinator Mieko Palazzo and Music and Media Librarian Cindy Badilla-Meléndez, students explored the collections and selected archival items as the basis for their original compositions.
